The Best Pumpkin Bread Recipe!

It’s officially autumn, and for me, that means fuzzy socks and sweaters, curling up with some knitting and a book, and of course pumpkin! Knowing this season was upon us, I had been working on a new recipe and I think I found the best out of similar recipes and managed to put all that goodness together in this perfect, fall treat! Read below for the recipe!

Ingredients :

  • 15 oz of pumpkin puree
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 3 tbsp cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions:

  • Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a small pot, put your butter and cream cheese on medium-low heat to start melting.
  • Scoop your pumpkin, sugar, cinnamon, baking powder and soda, and salt into a large bowl and start mixing together.
  • Add your egg, vanilla extract, and melted butter and cream cheese mixture. Mix this all in as well.
  • Then add and mix in your flour and chocolate chips, making sure they are evenly spread through.
  • Pour into your greased baking pan and bake for about an hour
  • When done, let rest for at least 30 minutes before removing
