Handmade, Simple, and Affordable Christmas Gift Ideas
It’s coming up to that beautiful time of year again! The days are colder, the nights are longer. Everybody starts decorating, and everything feels a bit merrier! And of course, when we get to this time of year, we’re all thinking about one thing for better or worse. Present ideas! Giving and receiving presents for the holidays is lovely! But unfortunately in this age full of advertisement and fast shopping, it can become more of a stressful and superficial thing, opposed to something with actual meaning. If you’re like me, you may be interested in the following gift ideas I came up with!
1. Handmade Gifts
This is probably my favorite category! To me, there’s not much that beats a handmade gift. The fact that someone put in the time, effort, and love is more meaningful than anything you could get in a store. Depending on what you like to do, there are many options for a homemade gift!
- Knit/ Crocheted Items
- Something hand sewn, or something old being mended/ turned into something new
- Baked goods
- Paintings / Drawings
- Photo Album/ Scrapbook
- Handwritten Letter
- Friendship bracelets
- IOU cards ( a way to offer services for your loved one as a gift!)
- Create a spotify playlist that reminds you of them!
2. Simple and Affordable Gifts

3. Gifts that arent things
